World Vision
Every person is well fed, clothed, healthy in body, mind, and spirit, housed in comfort, and has access to opportunities and the freedom to reach their full potential. Every person is blessed with pleasant and rewarding work at wages that comfortably support a family. Humanity protects the Earth’s natural riches for the benefit of future generations. Nations and cultures of the world live together in harmony and mutual respect.
Vision
The master plan for the gasoline alley foundation community project includes the integration of sustainable living, business, recreation and community. Our main goal is the creation of an environmental living and learning center ‘off the grid’, connected to a small business incubator, adjacent to a ‘bike path’ along the mill river that flows through a park surrounded by Victorian homes – a full community of sustainable living. The wheels are in motion for Gasoline Alley’s new look. A visually appealing and environmentally responsible plan is in place.

Values
Integrity
We don’t speak ill of others.
We speak privately to the individual with whom we have differences.
We are accountable.
We are not defensive.
Responsibility
We build credibility by saying what we will do and then do it.
We let people who are depending on us know what we can and cannot do.
We indicate where there has been a change or delay.
Unity
We don’t lose sight of our shared purpose.
We don’t discriminate.
We learn from each other.
Communication
We create an open and honest environment for discussion.
We take responsibility for how the message is delivered.
We encourage everyone to contribute their ideas.
We listen well.
We are open to new information and ideas.
Intentions
Treat others as you would have them treat you.
Trust
We assume good will.
We are not judgmental.
Focus
We strive to be concise.
We stay on topic.
We honor time limits.
Honesty
We speak directly.
We speak up when there is a problem.
We say the tough stuff appropriately.
Collaboration
We work together to find solutions.
We honor and appreciate ideas not our own.
We welcome differences.
We are committed to each other.
Youth Development Program
Our neighborhood is filled with young men that have not graduated from High School, convicted of a crime, never held a job, have little if any male role models, hungry for a better life and inspired to become solid men. We want to train these young men to live here, work and own a Social Enterprise, graduate to home ownership, and become prosperous productive members of the community.
Alumni Testimonials
Since 1990 Gasoline Alley has created over 1,000 jobs through more than 100 alumni companies. In this series of interviews from 2009, we hear more about the experience of Gasoline Alley Foundation member businesses.
Board of Directors
Nondiscrimination Policy
It is a policy of The Gasoline Alley Foundation that it will promote the establishment and maintenance of, and adherence to, a policy of non-discrimination with respect to age, color, national origin, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or veteran status and will attempt to create and promote a diverse environment of committed individuals.
A Place, an Idea, an Inspiration
We've created an incubator for small businesses on Gasoline Alley. The idea rests on the belief that by providing resources to small businesses they will become self-sufficient enough to help others, create jobs, and improve the community. Since 1990 we have created over 1,000 jobs through more than 100 alumni companies. If you are part of a mission driven company and want to be a member contact us.
